Hi Barbara,
I’m so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I swear, I hate this damn disease. I was in a very similar situation as you. Healthy to begin with (or so I thought), then getting that late stage diagnosis was shocking. You know, I do everything I can…still to this day and my last recurrence was in 2002 – when it had spread to my neck and pancreas. After three major surgeries, chemo, too many drugs to name, I sort of surrendered. I figured, I was going to die from this disease, but not like this…not sick and pathetic. I just wanted to get healthy enough to have some semblance of life again, even if I only had a year left. So, common sense things and what others call woo woo things. I do all organic foods, no GMOs, no chemicals on my body or in my home, clean water in entire home, removal of all mercury (silver) fillings and root canals, avoid all the processed oils such as vegetable, sunflower, safflower and so on. I only use organic coconut oil and grass fed butter, olive oil,and occasionally avocado oil. I have EMF protectors on my electronics – cell phones, laptops, iPads computers, etc.I get daily direct sunshine with NO sunglasses and as little clothes as possible for about 30 minutes everyday, acupuncture, massages, mud baths, mineral pools, energetic balancing, CBD oil, bio-identical hormones (yes I know all the scare tactics on hormones, but did my research. It took me 10 years to get over the scare but once I went on the bio-identical hormone creams, I felt like a new woman – sleep all night again, no more hot flashes, mood swings, etc. Of course, there’s all the things like vitamins, minerals, herbs, krill oil, turmeric, and on and on. Of course, these things took time, trail and error and I did it all without attachments to the outcome. I did not plan on surviving this long, I only wanted to feel better and think clearly again. I wanted to die with dignity… who knew I’d stop the cancer and actually reclaim my life. There is so much more. For me, it was about healing my physical body, my mental body and my spiritual body. I was always a grateful and positive person, but there was so much more I could do. Those are just some of the things I can think of off the top of my head! LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!! If you ever want to talk… Call me, I am always here for anyone who wants support or even if you just want to have someone to talk with who’s gone through the same hell. 1-818-264-6788. Love and Light sweet friend.

The horrible part is that I studied holistic medicine and how not to get cancer for the last 25 years and what to do holistically if you did get it.Unfortunately I didn’t know enough about ovarian cancer and was too far advanced stage 3 to holistically cure myself.

I tried though for the first 2 months with diet and intravenous vitamins. My symptoms all started after I had a CT scan and numerous X-rays all on the same day of my right hip. Within weeks I felt ill with mouth blisters and swollen joints and then bloating and 4 months after the hip CT scan and X-rays I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Anyways I have been taking Ginger everyday since being diagnosed. I eat well primarily a vegan diet.I was wondering is there anything else you can advice me about. I have been following all of the natural websites such as cancer tutor.com, etc. but I am wonrried about reoccurrence. When it reoccured in you what were your symptoms?

Hi Sal,
Thank you so much for contacting me. I am so very sorry to hear about your wife. Although I don’t know anything about stomach cancer, I do know any cancer diagnosis is devastating. I’m not sure my gynecologic oncologist is the expert you are looking for, However; I do feel confident, if not him, he will be able to refer you to the right person. His name is Dr. Richard Friedman at 1-818-847-4431. He works at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. His office is in the Roy & Patricia Disney Cancer Center at 818 S. Buena Vista St (3rd Floor), Burbank CA. I hope this helps. My heart is with you and your family. Please let me know if I can help you in any other way. Love and Light~

Hi James,
It sounds like your mom is responding pretty well to the treatments, however this is a very difficult treatment for anyone… let alone a 70 year old woman. I know because I went through it myself. If you are interested in learning about many successful alternative treatments that can help her both DURING and after her conventional treatments, I do have a suggestion for you. I’ve recently watched and purchased a video series called “The Truth About Cancer”. I highly recommend this series. This series is loaded with simple and easy things that can be done to beat cancer. I was particularly impressed by the number of people on the video who were told there was nothing else that could be done for them and they should just go home or into hospice care, yet they are not only alive today, but thriving. Some had pancreatic, lung, ovarian and other deadly late stage cancers. I was surprised by how many things they recommend that I have been doing for years now. It only reaffirms for me that I have been on the right track when it comes to curing cancer. This series can be found easily online by searching “The Truth About Cancer”. I believe you will find many things you can implement right now to help you mom. Please stay in touch and let me know how your mom is doing. I look forward to hearing more from you. Until then, I am holding your mom and your family in my highest thoughts of love and healing.

People such as yourself are a ray light offering rays to others, tremendous you’ve had time to reply to all those on here, I’m hoping you’ll have time to offer me some guidance?
My mother, 70 yo, fairly active but happy and healthy diagnosed in Sep 2015 with 3c ovarian. 4 chemos in ca125 fallen from 468, 315 now 194. Ascites all but gone, ct scan after 3 chemos shown primary source responding well to carbo/taxol but Mets on bowel lining platinum resistant. No surgery offered, avastin the plan after 6th chemo.
Turmeric, apricot kernels, masticating juicer, deep breathing, pma, lemon, ginger, exercise, fresh air all being used, with bloods showing mum is strong and healthier than when chemo started.
Sons, daughter in laws, grandchildren, partner, family all in pain (as with all sufferers, God bless) trying to find some practical hope. Could you comment?
Best wishes j.Taylor

Hi Jane,
It’s very difficult hearing how much you’ve gone through in such a short time. You are one very strong woman. You are the first person I’ve talked with who has had this type of recurrence. I am thinking that you might have a better chance of meeting another woman in a similar situation as yourself if you join a private group online. The group I am thinking of is on Facebook and it’s called The Sisterhood of Ovarian Cancer Survivors. If you go to their FB page and leave a short message about what you are going through with a request to join, they will approve you as a member and from there you can be part of this group. I love this group because there are hundreds of women from all over the world who are dealing with ovarian cancer, recurrences and similar challenges with the spread to other areas of the body. I wish I could be more helpful, but I’m thinking this group may be able to provide the kind of support you need right now. Please stay in touch and let me know if you learn any more on this. Until then, I will keep you in my highest thoughts of love, healing and prayer.

I got diagnosed on May 2013 with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Has surgery and chemo. I was in remission for 7 months until they found one large brain met. Had it surgically removed, went back on chemo and 6 months later(now) they found 2 tiny brain mets. Had them radiated and then a pet scan showed one lymph node as suspicious so I am going back on chemo. Do you know of anyone else with brain mets. I know it is very uncommon. Read your book and it was very inspiring. So happy you are doing so well! I don’t know how I could be sick because I feel so good.
